I can't resist sharing a photo of one of my dogs, Tony Stark, who goes by "Starkie." I'm a big animal lover, with three rescued pit mixes. I'm a stay-at-home mother to my pups and my son, which gives me plenty of time to write the contemporary romances that roll around in my head every minute of the day. I have a Master's in Social Work from UIC and a BA in Sociology from NIU in DeKalb, Illinois. My family traded in the cold winters of Chicago, where I spent the first thirty-six years of my life, for the suburbs of Houston, Texas, where it feels like the surface of the sun for at least three months over the summer— trading one extreme for another. There are wonderful independent bookstores in my area, though, and I love to frequent them when it's hot, if I'm not in the pool. I've been writing since I first learned how to type on a typewriter back in the late 1980s! My first real book was a stepbrother romance... I just didn't know there was a term for that back then! I wrote another in 2024 I hope to publish one day, which will bring things full circle. I enjoy writing Instalove, billionaire romances, romantic suspense, MFM, and small-town romance with swoonworthy men and the spunky, strong female characters who love them. Be well, and happy reading!
